Notice the "Low Back-up battery" warning at the bottom of the screen in pic #2712 - my normal practice is just to move the pop-up warning out of the way at the bottom of the screen and forget about it, lol. In this case it's particularly entertaining because there is no backup battery, or in this case, no main or back-up battery at all. This the same set-up I used here: https://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=18507&st...
I am invested in 18v. Milwaukee tools and recently, on a whim, I purchased a 'TOP-OFF' 175 watt, 18v. inverter for their line of portable powered implements. Ryobi and others have similar setups. Powered up the J820 just fine.

I first thought it was a charger for a drill. Nice setup.

Thanks, just playing around with the old J820. The battery is to my string trimmer. The little inverter has two USB power ports in addition to the plug-in. I have a larger 12v. inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter in my old truck I have sometimes used to charge my laptop.
I plan to use the more portable lithium battery/inverter combo to power led lights, charge my phone, gps, Kindle, etc. on camping trips this Fall.
