| I remember being able to get at least 6+ hours out of my 360LX and right now im getting maybe 2.5. Im using fresh Alkaline batteries each time. I do not have a rechargeable battery. It seems within an hour I start getting battery warning pop ups and they start to get very annoying and present themselves more often and eventually even with 3 bars of battery the backlight wont work. I got more battery off my 620LX lol, I think something software wise is not right. Not sure if theres an update. Any help would rock :-)

| Try another brand of alkaline battery?
Some cheaper alkaline batteries contain far less mAh capacity. |

| Although I have never owned a 360LX, in my experience of rechargeable batteries, Eneloop and SONY's were good. |

NiCad ?
Nimh is probably your best bet. As @stingraze suggests, Eneloops are usually considered the 'gold' standard. I just use the cheaper Energizer brand which is readily available at my local 'Dollar' store. |

| I know that Nimh AA, and regular AA work. No personal experience with lithium rechargeable batteries. |

| WallyB110, Do Not attempt to charge Li or LiPol cells in the 360 - only charge them using an external charger. The internal charge circuitry on the device is not designed for Lithium derivative battery cells meaning that there is a possibility of causing damage to the device, overheating the cells or a fire. |

| Ok good to know. I have an external charger for batteries so I will make sure I do NOT charge them inside the unit. Thanks. :-)

| Even when I have 50% battery left, it keeps popping up with battery warnings and as I said after awhile it keeps the backlight from turning on. Anyone know anyway of getting these battery warnings to stop ? |
