[REQ:<Global>] Casio A-11

Hey there everyone.

Im looking for a serial cable for a Casio A-11. The same cable is compatible with the A-10 and the Compaq C-120 and C-140.

Also if anyone has one of the RARE Windows CE 2.0 upgrades for this plz let me know.

Someone had a A-11 with the 2mb extra and he emailed me a pic and it was indeed what I was looking for. But I was out of $ and its gone already. $40 + 12 shipping. Hoping another one pops up. I got a A-10 2mb and used the screen to put in the A-11. Im still waiting of the other A-10. Ill take some pics and post them later tonight or tomorrow. I will do some videos but still waiting on the 9pin to USB adaptor.

I just got a A-10 in the mail today with the dock and I turned it on and it has the CE 2.0 ROM in it !!!!!

I need two ribbon cables for the screen to connect to the mobo. The two units I have the ribbon was bad. But I tested them with a working ribbon cable and they work. If anyone has one or two of these ribbon cables. Plz let me know ! ;-)

Praying i find them so i dont have two A-10's just sitting in pieces.



The cable I broke very very easily on this latest unit. It had def gotten a few drops of water on the connector and it rotted out the cable. As I said the units power up with a working ribbon cable and screen. So i know these are repairable units. But finding working ribbon cables to fix these may not be easy to find.


Once I saw the cable was bad I just pulled it out and it ripped it even more, but the cable was bad anyways. But it looks like in the pic I ripped it lol and I did... but it had already started to rip and I said screw it. Wasnt gonna fix the unit with this cable.
