Hey there folks.

I have the cable that plugs into the unit with the little box on it that accepts a 5v adaptor.

My adaptor is dead sadly and now along with not being able to do the Velo video, I cant do the video on the Casio A-11 lol. Also I took apart the recharable battery and the whole thing was junk, the plastic was bad. No fixing it. But I have a broken C-140 coming with the standard battery door that will fit on the A-11. But I do not have an adaptor.

If anyone has one that will work plz let me know :-)

PS

I dont even know where to begin to try finding a Serial cable for this unit either

Heres pics of the unit

Took me over an hour to clean up the rechargeable battery mess that was in this unit. Luckily the contacts on the unit itself are pretty good to go.

Other than the top of the unit, its in great shape. That rubber material on the top is really scratched up. Sadly its Windows CE 1.0, but hopefully tomorrow ill be getting PocketDos. I didnt realize these were only 4mhz slower than the 320LX. If anyone has a CE 2.0 upgrade for the A-11 let me know ;-).

Didnt realize it had a 2mb PCMCIA card in the slot. So currently its 6mb. I dont have any other PCMCIA memory cards. May get a converter to CF so I can use the 4mb cards I was using in my 360LX.

Also the hinge is like new on this unit, I think the scratches on the top was the way it was stored. As the rest of this unit is clean. I kept the parts of the battery pack but its a mess and I dont think its worth trying to fix. Next monday im suppose to get that Compaq C-140 (parts unit) and that has the battery door so I can put 2 AA's in it.

Found a serial cable new in box for the Casio ! Shocked I found one. And I found the dock for the Casio (Its a Compaq dock, but its the same) for $3 + $4 shipped. Was $15 for Dock and Serial cable total. Hopefully the broken C-140 has the battery door I was told it has that allows me to use AA batteries over the NiCad battery that is dead.

Where did you get the dock? I have a dead Casio Cassiopeia A11 with CE 1.0 in it. But I have a working Compaq C140 with CE 2.0 in it. I found a Serial Cable that I overpaid for on eBay ($80 in total). Still cannot connect to Win 10 though. I have been looking for the mini dock with AC Adaptor so I can run off of the main while setting at my desk. I am still looking for either the mini dock or the full size dock with corresponding AC Adapter.

Anyone know where I can get a dock set for my Compaq C140.

I found the serial cable (Casio cable new in box) I think it was $10 +$3 shipping. I found the AC adaptor 4 days ago for $13 shipped. All on Ebay, but it was weird if I typed in keywords for these items NOTHING came up. I found these by accident.

Heres a dock for sale.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/274947018489?hash=item40041e8ef9:g:SpAAAOSw...
(Bad battery tho)

Would you sell your broken Casio ? Im looking for that Ribbon cable if thats intact.

This is the serial cable I found:

Ill see if the seller has anymore and get back to you, but the seller didnt really seem to know even what this was so I dunno if hed be a good place to start to search.

^ This charges the batteries or powers the unit. Its not a serial cable for transferring info between PC and the unit itself. You plug a standard AC 5v 2a into this box and plug the other end into the serial port on your C-120, 140 or A-10 or 11. It will recharge the batteries and power the unit.

I will trade you for the CR-M10 dock. Mini dock. If you want to throw in the charger I will take it, but not required for the trade. My A11 cover is in very good condition. while you are swapping out the display cable, swap covers as well.

I double checked to make sure my other screen for the A-11 worked, and the screen works but the touch is messed up. Itll go thru the setup and work, but after you return to desktop and try pressing Start it wont work and it only works on certain parts of the screen. I tried cleaning the contact etc and no luck.

Im gonna hold onto the screen incase I come across another unit that has a working touch screen part. I think its just the connector or cable is bad, as I press the cable that connects the touch screen to the board it goes in and out.

But I have a A-10 coming that Im hoping has a working touch screen part (the seller says it wont turn on). When I get the dock shipped out hopefully your A-11 screen works or the touch screen part works. Id dont want to be a parts collector with only one working unit lol.
