| I'm new here, and i've found some software that's not on hpcfactor's software list. I wonder how it can be added here.
1 )A relatively powerful web browser. It is a fully functional trial version. It runs on Windows CE5/6/7 as well as WM
Here's the site
Disclaimer: it's really resource hungry and i've had some issues with loading
2 )7-zip has a WinCE version

| Hello A2TMFK,
Thanks for the info. I have added them to the SCL as requested and you have be awarded the profile badges for the submissions.
If someone could confirm the actual OS version compatibility (especially for the two 7-zip versions, which doesn't state it anywhere), or could provide screenshots for the SCL. I would be grateful.
Thanks, |

| I can only confirm that they work on WinCE 6.0 on an ARM processor because it's my only device |

| I've tried ZetaKey - it was painfully slow when I tried it. Just like the CE 6 version of Firefox. |

| Zeta is a memory hog...as you would expect from an HTML5 browser. And that is why it is slow...page buffering takes place in user ram. It just keeps stacking the data you use till it runs out and then freezes up. |

| I think that's why they are saying that it shouldn't be used by individuals but is intended for optimised OEM integration.
CE Geek, we don't have Firefox in the SCL... hint.
Are there other things from the post CE 4 world that we're missing... hint

| C:Amie,
I read here on minimo (firfox archive ) that Minimo works on Windows Mobile 4.2. I think they mean the Windows CE 4.2, but does it work on Mobile Pro 900 / 900C with redgear?

| I'm aware of the CE version of 7-zip - I've been using a version of it on CE 6 devices for some time. I was surprised it wasn't in the SCL before now. I'll browse through my massive collection of CE files and see what else might still need to be uploaded, but it'll take quite some time. |

Yeah, even the lite version barely runs on 128 mb RAM, I tried running it on a PPC that has 64mb (30 available ) and it would just close when trying to open Google. However it has the "iphone mode" that loads lighter versions of pages (kinda like Opera Mini ) and it helps Edited by A2TMFK 2021-11-15 10:27 AM

| By the way, i was able to run Opera Mini 5.1 on CE6 but with terrible freezes. It runs perfectly, then suddenly locks up for 10 seconds, then runs again. Any ideas why this might be happening? |

| Does it do it on sites that aren't javascript dependent? If not, then it's probably related to that. If it does, it's probably pausing for paging. |
