Hi Wally!

Did you do this video? Did you earn an HPCFactor Badge??

Nicely done video... yes! Only go with the DIgigear Black... avoid the flimsy red ones as most
(over 75% ) are defective( from my own experience) and will cause unending grief thinking you have lost all your files, etc.

Hey, glad you found all your files intact Too!

Now I have to learn how to make and upload a youtube video!

Thanks, many will benefit from this important "review."

Joval

Yeah I did this video earlier today. I have a couple up so far, there will be a lot more to come. :-)

Im not in "it" for the badges, but if I get one cool !, if not thats cool too ;-).

Yeah I am so glad some kind folks on here were able to come save the day, if I hadnt known about the red ones being junk id prob have bought a 2nd one and driven myself mad.

Also yeah, that was awesome putting the card in and all the data was still intact and my shortcut links etc worked. I really do hope this video helps others out there. No need to drive oneself crazy ! LOL!

By the way in my 360LX i have tried the following size SD cards:

32, 64, 128, 512, 1gb. All have worked.

[ video=<YT URL>]

<xxx> means a placeholder for substitution

[ video=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mq1jk98DiR0&ab_channel=CTCards]

You don't put the space in after the [ and you don't put the < or > in to the BBS markup

See https://www.hpcfactor.com/info/help/forums/bbs-code/ for the full list.

I have updated the Digigear SCXCF1 entry in the HCL to show CE 2.00 support. If you fancy trying it in CE 1.0 and letting me know, I will update for that too.

Based upon a skim of Amazon.co.uk, I have also added a bunch of the red ones to the HCL with negative compatibility flags. If there are any more to add, please submit them - please remember to vote and submit updates to the HCL for hardware that you know both works and does NOT work!! Your feedback is the only way that the dataset can get better.

There are bluish green ones with a white label that are the exact same thing as the red ones. Along with the same issues. So far the black one has acted 100% right.
