Yess, back again and able to log in (thanks Chris). Still active in repairing and upgrading 200LX's (95LX/100LX/700LX) and open to anyquestion you would like to ask about the hardware and/or software for the systems.
And I am still surprised by the ebb and flow of the requests for repairs, upgrades and whole systems. It appears really good hardware never dies - although the screens and the hinges stayed weak parts. I have reflowed scores of screens by now, (just resoldering up to a 100 very small pins individually by hand) and many recover.

(and 'mizj.com' for the SUPER site stems from the time 4-letter dot com names were still affordable and available, and not all harvested, a joke on my first name ;-)

I have more DOS/LX software available than published on the site, but still need to inventorize and add links. Real Soon Now (like my re-activation after six years...)

And I am working on 16MB memory upgrades at the moment. Just for those who want to use extra ramdisk, LIM/EMS or need their PCMCIA slot for other uses, as CF cards are dirt cheap now--I still have a few 5MB HP flash cards as museum pieces, these were only $499 those 30 years ago.... And a ditto Seagate 5MB like new (Sundisk rebrand like the HP) including it's original 36 page manual. Those were the days...

Native support for flash is 256MB (save Transcend Ultra 256MB, these need a driver) , with the acecard3 driver up to several gigabytes, but it is still FAT, so your 20 line text file may use 32MB on a large card. But if you have a batch of old small SD/MMC cards from you discarded camera's, these work excellent with an SD->PCMCIA adapter. I have working Smartmedia, Sony Memory stick and SD PCMCIA adaptors laying around, all working in the LX. And so on, and so forth.

There's also a "how to open your HP 100/200LX for repairs or upgrades" and "How to connect a serial or PS/2 mouse to your HP DOS Palmtop" videos on my youtube channel...
Might be of interest in the relevant section...

Cheers,

A while back I made available to the HP Computer Museum pdf's of The Palmtop Paper and The Portable Paper.
https://www.hpmuseum.net/exhibit.php?content=Portable%20Paper

I also provided an image of the HP Palmtop InfoBase CD, here.
http://www.hpmuseum.net/display_item.php?sw=584

I'd also suggest you add The Musuem of HP Calculators to your list of links.

Although please review what I've already posted at top of page, before making suggestions.

I already have direct links for these items you mention.

Want to avoid this thread getting long with lots of duplication.

Best,
