Anyone old enough to remember the Internet in the era before Google, will probably remember the Internet Directories.
In the world before Page Rank and search engines based upon referral criterion. Internet Directories reigned supreme in the world of delivering users to website. For those who are not old enough to remember or who were not online. The Directories were large, taxonomical repositories of manually submitted links. Links could be in one or more category with some Directories offering higher placement based upon popularity while others just maintained flat indexes.
I suspect that many in the community do not realise that HPC:Factor has
always had a Directory. It is easy to forget because it ticks away in the background, underpinning the HCL, SCL, Devices and Specifications as well as other parts of the site.

While it may not be immediately obvious, the Directory does feed a lot of traffic and it does qualify in the true sense of a Directory as a feeder into search engine traffic. So if there is anyone out there who has or is starting a website on a Windows CE based Handheld PC or Tablet PC. As well as on a DOS Palmtop or EPOC/Symbian Device. The please do feel very welcome to submit your website for inclusion in the Directory.
If you have a YouTube Channel that is dedicated to or
frequently covers Windows CE, DOS Palmtops or EPOC/Symbian then I have added new YouTube categories to the Directory so that we can create a collection of those resources. Equally, please feel free to submit your YouTube channel homepage URL for inclusion.
