Get Jornada 680 online and to HPCFactor with WRP

Hi All, just a reminder that it is possible to get online with your Jornada 680 using WRP proxy (running on Windows 10). In this case using an Aironet 340 wifi card (open... no encryption) connecting to an Esp8266 wifi repeater to WPA2 connect to home router back to win10 server on port 8080. Using Pocket Internet Explorer ?3?? Even gets you past the captcha login! Yes, its slow going, but kinda nice for wikipedia, or HPCFactor forums. Hope to get Frogfind.com working... no luck so far......joval/J680/ openWifi-to/ esp8266WPA2/ WRP

Also works with the MobilePro 800... but slooowww. Love that big 800x600 display screen!Still suffices for wikipedia type viewing, also allows network shared storage... I'm still working out the bugs. 3com ethernet card is quirky, Kingston works well. Otherwise the PIE 3 browser is almost worthless, frogfind doesn't work without some major dance steps. Right now I'm writing on my MP900c ethernet card to WPA2 adapter in its usb port,using WRP proxy server.... nice, eh?I actually get past the captcha popup can log on...

Yes, very similar but better allows uploading files as I recall. Requires Javascript enabled browser so PIE 3.0 or 4.0 fail. WRP (web rendering proxy) works with simplest of browsers IMO

That is a shame, worth a try though. If you have a .net device, could be worthy of a look
