| From this page, can you download the Italian version? Or does it not exist?

| The page doesn't imply it is multi-lingual. You will need DCOM 95 v1.3 to install it too. |

Yes it is. With the update of IE 4.0 and higher, DCOM 95 is also updated. So at least in the specifications it is written. |

| Question, of curiosity. Is there a ActiveSync for Microsoft Windows Workgroups 3.11? To synchronize Handheld PCs? |

| You counted the pins earlier in the thread, I remember asking you to do it. So tell the seller they sold you a 39 pin and advertised it as a 40 pin or simply adapt it by drilling the missing hole back in.
To my recollection, if you drill the hole it should work fine. I think it was a dead pin on IDE |

| Perfect! Now I'm preparing it to install windows! And the mechanical disc, I make it as a secondary.

Question: Now there are a lot of wires, are they so close, will there be no problems when I close the PC case?

| Very good
I'm glad that worked okay; I genuinely wasn't sure if I was remembering the IDE spec of not there
You'll have to have a look to see if it will let you enable DMA mode on the CF adapter. If it does, it'll run a lot faster (assuming the machine supports anything faster than PIO4 ).
No, the machine of that generation will be able to cope with the cables being crushed in like that. Just keep them clear of the fans. The long-term issue is that the rats nest of cable will retain the heat. You can get rounded IDE ribbons which help with the air flow . Other than that you will just have to push the power connectors down and do the best that you can with cable management. Systems of that age never considered proper cable management like modern ones do. |

| Where should I see DMA mode from? From the BIOS? If so, can you tell me where to look? Indicatively I mean. |

| I have a problem, I'm with the windows startup disk. I deleted everything. But I can't set the 32GB disk as C, and therefore primary and the old one as D, secondary .... how do you do it ?? |
