There's talk out there about bringing a Windows XP look to Windows 11:

https://betanews.com/2022/05/11/windows-xp-2022-edition/

Speaking as a stubborn XP devotee (because I'm a CE devotee), I'm all for the idea.

That looks even more hideous than Windows 11 does

Literally the only thing I hate about light Windows 10 theme is that it has no window borders and no taskbar border so it is sometimes confusing when you have two windows or panels close to each other. XP is just bad, classis is the best.

I agree. Under Windows Server, everything is white and with stacked windows it's impossible to tell the difference between one window or another. I stick to dark mode personally, but that has broadly the same problem - it's just available on Windows Server unless it's running Desktop Experience.

Agreed on the Windows 95 look

That does look cool though! Even when XP was out, I always preferred the Win95 look. Here on Windows 11, I use dark mode. Debian on my other devices I use LXQT

Personally I don't mind the new windows 11 graphics. However I am tied to the classic one, windows 95/98 style!
When I used windows XP, in fact, I used the classic style. It wasn't that bad, but I preferred having the classic style over XP.
