| I wanted to know if anyone has experience with this site.
I'm trying to find updates, some I can download them, others I don't download them.
For example, I would be very interested in downloading this update in Italian: Windows 95 Year 2000 Update
On a forum I found an explanation, but it doesn't seem to work.
To update Windows 95, you will want to use the Wayback Machine. Since support for Windows 95 ended December 31, 2001, the most relevant page for updates would be from December 15, 2001, the final archive date before support ended.
Windows 95: Download-Windows Update : [Windows 95, updates, updating, downloads, service packs, communications, networking, power toys, kernel toys, previews, administrative tools, deployment tools, management tools, networking tools]
On these pages, you may need to click on each update and "view source" in your browser and find the actual ".exe" link, since there's no way to absolutely accept a license agreement on a now archived site. I have done this and never ran into any problems.
For example, the first update that appears on the page is: Critical Update, August 14, 2000:
To download the update, right-click on the page and select "view source". Then find the ".exe": "<a href="/web/20011213225224/http://download.microsoft.com/download/winntsp/Patch/Q271216/W9XNT4/FR/FrancFix.exe"
Now that link won't work since it's not on Microsoft's server anymore, so you simply copy the "http:" and appended it to the end of your page link.
So, "http://web.archive.org/web/200112150000 ... efault.asp" becomes http://web.archive.org/web/20020211013932/http://download.microsoft.com/download/winntsp/Patch/Q271216/W9XNT4/FR/FrancFix.exe
Can someone help me?

| Oh, the Wayback Machine... where's Sherman and Mr. Peabody when you need them???
Good to know... is there a tutorial on use?
I see I'm approaching 1000 posts on HPC:Factor... so I'm disingenously "padding the bill" here.
joval... back in the saddle, horsing around with his J72(8)/Devuan/RasPi4 hybrid "Mule" |

| It would be interesting to understand exactly how to use this "service" this archive where old sites are located, so as to download what you need, since often the links are not valid and gives an error. In this case C.Amie managed to get me to download the file I was interested in.
I didn't succeed. |

| It was a retail product, so you won't get it from Symantec.

| A thousand thanks. Such a pity. It will mean that I keep the 2000 version in ITA. |

| Does the English CD have it in IT as an installer option though? |

I don't know if I understand the question correctly. I have a CD called PC Inside. is one of the famous data CDs with PC magazines. Has the full version of Norton utilities 2000. |

| You asked for Norton utilities 2001, I posted you a link to the ISO. You're saying that you have NU 2000... which is not 2001. |

Sorry. Unfortunately the translator has his limitations. I don't know much English and I rely on Google Translate. Anyway I downloaded what you gave me. Unfortunately it is only in English. I'll keep the one from 2000 which is in Italian. |

| Dang, that's annoying. I was hoping it would have the FR, DE, IT, ES on it too. |
