That's an excellent tear-down. I'm still hit-or-miss on my replacements. It's such tight work and the battery sheathing can't be replaced with electrical tape, etc--it's too thick. Also, the thermostat is difficult to re-solder to new batteries--wires are too short.
I once had a Psion Revo I ordered from UK, but it was a little broken in the hinges, and I didn't bother fixing or getting the right adapter for it... Wish I had at least powered it on.
The price was good back then, 9.50GBP plus 4.02GBP shipping.

A good price, though hard to cannibalize a Revo/Mako. You can harvest the thermostat, various pins and such, but I think it would be tough to reuse the chassis or screen. Or at least it would be for me
