Rest in peace! But for those like me, who use old PCs, they won't retire!
I saw a project, which allows you to navigate today without problems with old browsers, old windows operating systems:
https://github.com/ttalvitie/browservice
Obviously I haven't tried it, I don't have any pc with linux. Too complicated for me!

I miss the old days of simple browsing. I never needed or wanted all those flash animations and crap. Wish everything was simply straight text and fixed images. Tired of cookies and advertisements targeted towards me. Don't need emojis, emoticons, memory intensive graphics, or quadrophonic piped in stereo...

What ever happened to the KISS principle.

IE, Edge... what's the real change?

Somebody in Korea actually made a tombstone for IE.
I think it's kinda disrespectful to IE. haha

https://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/vcle2x/a_korean_ie_user_made...

Plus, looks kinda fake, but... yeah.

Ask your wife.

You're a Brave man, C:Amie.

Well, the name, for starters.

Edge is a Chromium derivate..., (e.g. better well copied than badly self-invented)

@michelbel, I think you took that a bit seriously; I was being ironic. However if you want Microsoft tracking, bing cookie drops going on left right and centre and one of the worst chromium implementations for browser fingerprinting. Have fun with Edge

Brave let’s you earn BAT, a type of token (crypto) that you can get while surfing the net. It also blocks most annoying ads. I use it alongside Firefox these days.

Same as Stingraze, I generally try and use firefox to keep Chromium from becoming dominant, but if I need to use Chromium either to test or because something doesn't work properly in Firefox *cough* YouTube editor *cough* I use brave. I won't install Chrome on any of my systems in principle and Edge is equally just spyware with a different master.

I just turn off all the Brave rewards and crypto junk. I still use uBlock Origin with all the annoyance filters enabled though.
