Been running 101+ temp for 3 days...

Tested positive today for BA3 varient despite 2 immunization plu booster. Feel like crap!

Damn, I'm sorry Rich. I know an increasing sphere of people with it, none of whom are reporting good things.

Hoping she gets it...time for a newer modlel...one who is not 75 years old ..thinking 16 would be fun.

Glad you're vaccinated. For some folks it may well have been a lifesaver even though they still got infected. (I just got my second Moderna booster earlier this month, with no side effects as with all three of the previous shots. So far I haven't caught the virus - knock on wood - but then I am still spending a lot of time at home alone with my CE toys.)

We aren't getting 4th shots currently; not unless you're on a vulnerability list. The infection numbers are ramping up again though - and it's the summer. I think the plan is to cook everyone's proverbial goose over the summer with it in the hopes that we have a passing shot at surviving the winter. That said, I think everyone will be on strike by the winter, so we'll all be in a de facto lockdown anyway

If you're teetering on the edge and Mrs. Hawley reads this thread perhaps she should give you a tiny... nudge.

Good to see that at least Covid hasn't fogged your thinking, Rich. You remain the same guy despite your feverish state

We have friends, one immuno-compromised, and they got outside from someone who tested negative, stayed masked except to eat, then tested positive the next day. They're okay now, but you can't win for losing.
