I ask for help you have more experts, because I would not want to mess up and connect the cables in reverse.
I know that by putting an original music CD, I could listen to the music by connecting headphones directly to the player.
Now if I remember correctly I have a cable that connects to the player and the sound card.

The cable goes behind the player exactly here:

In the two slots, I assume it should be inserted in CD_IN and not in AUX_IN

Question, does the cable go behind the reader, as shown in photo 1 or photo 2?

The same thing for the sound card; should it be inserted as in photo 1 or 2?

A thousand thanks!

It doesn't actually matter. If you put it in wrong, the left and right channels will be swapped.

If you look at socketed cables however , the red is always on the left going into the receptacle.

A thousand thanks! Yes indeed it is! I also found this which confirms it!
