I have an HP Scanjet 2400 and would like to install the drivers for Windows 98SE.
In the official site, there is only one "Update" available.
It can be seen from the HP website: HP Scanjet 2400
This makes me think that in theory there should be installation drivers for Windows 98, but for some reason they are no longer available.
I did an online search, but I can't find anything for the operating system.
Can someone help me?

Try the Windows 2000 version, it may just be they forgot to link it to 98/Millennium.

While I waited, I remembered archive.org.
I found the CD, with all the drivers!

I have installed everything, but when I start the program, and I try to scan a file, an internet explorer window appears telling me, that to run the program correctly I need to install visual basic scripts.
I have Visual Basic 6 installed, but it doesn't work. I don't understand what exactly he wants. Ideas?

Visual basic isn't VBScript. You should find the installer for Windows Script in the updates zip. It's sometimes referred to as the WSH.

No, they're the ones you downloaded from me. WSH is on the install CD, but it was supplanted by WScript 5.x
