Unfortunately, mounting an SSD on this machine is too complicated, where to disassemble everything.
I have the CF ScanDisk but it crashes windows 2000.
I'll take the usual one I had before.

Why do you recommend ScanDisk?

As for the CF, formatting in DOS:
When I formatted the drive, it sucessfully formatted it but then came up with the error message:

"Unable to write BOOT"

With the TestDisk program, I was able to see all the files in the CF and restore them. Obviously it's just a test. I am interested in recovering the CF, but every attempt to Erase the partition or format has failed, It seems locked. The file system is damaged.
If the files can be viewed and recovered, I think CF too, the problem is how.
I have tried EaseUS CleanGenius and IM-Magic Partition Resizer Free but they can't solve the problem.
I also tried SD Card Formatter, but nothing ....

Like I said, if you can get a compatible SanDisk you can change it to Fixed Disk mode.

If it can't write the boot sector, then it probably has a NAND failure, controller failure or has write locked on the boot sector. If the disk isn't marked read only in Windows disk manager, then it's probably just dead.

How do I know which SanDisk is compatible? The only one I have does not accept windows 2000 and on the previous ones it was not possible to use DMA.

You'll have to search and find out what supports the fixed disk flag.

I'll try the other guides you gave me. I think it's simpler.
