There is a reason why the DMA option can be used, but once selected, windows fail, with crashes, applications crashing, and windows won't start.
This takes place both with the CF ScanDisk and with the Transcend. Yet they are of good brand.

Sounds like it's the controller then, or the DMA supported by the controller can't be handled properly by the motherboard.

But then why is this CF (unfortunately ruined) the only one not to give problems? If you remember this before it broke it was the only one that worked for all operating systems with DMA enabled and I was able to install Windows 2000.
Compact Flash Card High Speed 32GB

I got the CF from China. I have installed all Windows 2000 This CF, as stated by the seller is an industrial one, but I think it is not. In fact, Windows sees it as Removable. Also there is always the Floppy problem.
I cannot solve these two problems myself.
When you have time, can you take a look at my PC? A thousand thanks.

I am trying to install a TeamViewer 15.14.5 which should still be supported. In case you can use this, to log into my PC.
Let me know.

EDIT:
TeamViewer 15.14.5 does not work on Windows 2000. Alternatives?

There is the problem of Compact Flash being fake. You should get from a trusted vendor / shop if you want to make sure it's not counterfeit as there are MANY of those.

OK, good news! I solved the removable disk problem! Windows 2000 now sees it as a hard drive!
BUT for the floppy problem I need to have C: AMIe remotely control my PC.

Finally I managed to install Windows 2000, so as to have more possibilities of using the software and hardware.
I am using Windows 2000 SP4.
I have noticed that windows tries to read the floppy very often for no reason.
In fact, when I started installing programs, they crash or ask for the floppy disk.
For example I wanted to install framework 1.1, but as soon as the installation started, for some strange reason, windows started incessantly and persistently trying to read the floppy, which obviously isn't there.
Same thing, with the HP scaner 2400 program. When it almost reaches the end of the installation, incessantly and insistently try to read the floppy and then the installation crashes. In this case it gives an error. The installation is canceled. This prevents me from installing the scanner.
Why this problem? A bug?

I came up with an idea, which worked !!!!!!
Instead of deleting all the links that extend to the letter A: in the SendTo command (since it hadn't worked in the past) I changed it, inserting instead of A :, C: now no longer reads the floppy and I can install updates! !
Windows 2000 installation can continue!

Question, I would like to download IE6 from your archive for windows 2000, but it won't let me download it why?

which is exactly what I told you to do in the first place...

As I told you last time you asked. They're not included.

Yes, now I remember that I had followed the guidance you gave me to the letter. I had deleted everything and not edited as you told me. Unfortunately, having deleted everything I could not restore anything.
Now having reinstalled windows 2000 instead of deleting I modified the file.
Regarding the Disc, I always followed that Japanese guide. But in the recommendations instead of using regedit.exe I had to use regedt32.exe.
So I was able to insert the name of the CF in the non-removable disk parameter.

I have it in IT via https://www.hpcfactor.com/info/help/donate_to_download/

Regarding IE6 you told me you have it. In fact, in the Download list it appears unless it is for windows 98.

I am noticing that installing Net Framework 1 and 2 slows down the PC. The CPU is always at 100%. I had to uninstall everything.
This shows up to me only on WIndows 2000.
Are Net Framework necessary?

I found IE6 ITA for win2000 on an Italian forum.
However I am noticing, that by dint of installing programs and updates, the PC starts to be extremely slow .....

I do have it "Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 [IT]"

.net is not necessary, no, not unless you need it to run a program. In which case it is necessary.

I noticed that the WinMgmt.exe process is 100% for a good 5 minutes when I start windows.
After that it returns to normal.
Yet when I just installed the operating system, this problem was not there.
I only installed IE6, Bingo Wireless and the drivers for the Wifi card and Windows Installer 3.1.
Is there any way to understand why that process behaves like this?

WinMgmt.exe is the process executable for the WMI service.

I'm going to say it for the upteenth time, until you fully patch the system it's very likely you're just facing down a open bug.

Yes, but which patch? Do I need to install all the patches that are recommended here on hpcfactor ?? Isn't there a targeted one?
