Hi, I very frequently visit Spain but was unable to take my MobilePro with me because of the power plug issue. I can’t seem to locate a Continental Europe adapter for either my MobilePro 790 or 900 (it doesn’t matter which one I just need at least one of the two). I was fine with an aftermarket one I just couldn’t locate any. Maybe I just settle for the converter ? I didn’t want to have to do that I preferred an actual native connector

Isn't it that if it supports 100V-240V with 50/60Hz, the power plug will work with a adapter to US type?

https://www.power-plugs-sockets.com/us/spain/

Or was it that Mobile Pro at that time didn't support 100-240V / 50/60Hz? Sorry I don't know, because I live in Japan...
If it was the case that Mobile Pro power plug supported only 110V 60Hz, you need voltage converter that also changes frequency.

I guess Handheld PC stuff are so overpriced these days.
Original NEC S1424-21A Power Supply for Mobile Pro 790 at $72.00 on eBay.

Then use this.

I can't believe that they shipped a mobile device without a dual voltage transformer o.O

Looking at it closely, you’re right! It supports 100V-240V, but without 50Hz. Strange, as Japan uses both 50 and 60 Hz split between eastern and western part.

Seems like MC-BA6 for Japanese Mobile Gear has 100V only but 50/60Hz.

I guess people didn’t travel abroad as much as they do now… (excluding the corona virus situation)

Sorry, I finally got some coffee and reread the posts, and my brain understands everything now! Thank you!
I did some digging myself and figured out that the MobilePro 790 only natively has US or UK AC adapters available - and the 900 only has US AC Adapters available.
I only have an aftermarket adapter for my 790, but I have the OEM for my 900. I'll get those plug adapters like you mentioned because they do have the 50/60Hz indications on them.
Thank you both for your help!!

Can confirm that this worked great !
Here’s a picture with it setup.
