| I know how to compile apps for .NET on newer Pocket PCs with Visual Studio, that’s neither here nor there, but how would I compile the source code for a .NET v2 application that is for Windows CE 2 Palm-Sized PC, some SDK? Did it use Visual Studio?
I am a noob with WinCE (and the development) but not with computers in general. I know how to download SDKs, set up Virtual Machines and what have you.

| CE2 means you'll be targeting .NET Compact Framework 1.0, so the easiest way to do that is using Visual Studio 2003.
It isn't free to download like modern Visual Studio is, however. | |

| You mean I can't download Visual Studio 2003 from Archive.org? Is it illigal? | |
