| Hi, so I'm trying to get my Linksys EC2T Eth Card working with my MobilePro 900 running 4.2.
I can get the lights to come on the dongle, but I can't get the "network cable" system tray applet to come on consistently.
I've tried hard resets, unplugging and plugging back in.
Tried the ne2000 and le100 drivers |

| Did you try its own driver from the HCL? |

| I think the HCL may be mislabeled, because I think it's a 16bit host exe, and when I inflated it, there's only MIPS/SH3 files inside |

| Ah, dang. Explains why the driver itself is only tagged for CE2.00.
Any change between being on AC or on Battery? When it does work, what does vxUtil show?

| I had been alternating between the two - I have no idea what I did before, but it did show up in the system tray at one point, but I don't know how to replicate it.
Let me try battery again. and i'll run vxutil
The system did recognize it at one point, I just can't figure out what I did to get it to :/
Is there a newer ne2000 dll I can override the CE4.2 included one? |

| As I don't know how old your one is, hard to say
Would need platform builder to get it though |

| Since you know it's working on the 790, can you possibly go with an older one instead? |

| Well. I think it may be the same issue with my dlink ne2000 card.
Because that works on ce3.0 MIPS but when I had my MobilePro 900 on ce3.0 arm it still didn’t work. So there may be something quirky with the arm driver for the ne2000. But at least this Linksys actually showed up and was close to actually working. More so than the dlink one ever did. |

| NE2000 is a bit of a nightmare like this. It has always been inconsistent. |

| Seems like somebody got it working on the 900 tho because they marked it in the HCL as working... |

| What bothers me is I don’t know what I did to get it kinda working that first time. So theoretically it should work
I tried replacing the ne2000 and loading that dll with your trendnet ovi driver and still no luck |

| Is there any way to tell who marked it working in the HCL and possibly reach out to them? |

| Also...how hard would it be to do a factory reset and try it again with just the ne2000 driver....to make sure there isn't something messed up somewhere else..? |

| I’ve done like four hard resets now. |

| Oh OK- I'm sorry, I didn't realize that hard reset meant that, I was thinking hard reset was like...pushing the physical reset button. Hehe |
