| Ah ok. Unfortunately I don’t have any devices that don’t have the runtime baked in.
Oh well. |

| I didn't say we couldn't try, just that it would be difficult. |

| Oh I know. I wasn’t being defeatist. I just wish I had a clean slate to test for you better.
On that note, is VSCE2.0 an impossibility for CE2.0? |

What's the name of the site with thousands of eVB programs again?
I dunk for bananas: http://cebeans.com/archive.htm
I finally remembered. I went through letters A-B, and only like 1-2 of 30 programs worked on x86, you're welcome to continue as well, but don't be surprised if there's an 95% failure rate when you try to load them. I added the couple that worked so far + added x86 compatibility data to the SCL. Look for the t5540 tag. ANd make sure it's a VBCE2.0 prog (in the tag ) versus 1.0 (which won't work )

What could that be about? Are we missing something? |

| Well they’re PocketPC based.
If you could let me know which ones work and I’ll add them , give you credit. I just ran out of patience with it.
That site even works with IE for CE so I was also direct downloading them. I think it’s faster to download with normal pc and just transfer over though. |

It is possible to get those to open if you add and register MSCEMenuBar.dll from the Pocket PC runtimes. That DLL in turn requires aygshell.dll. It will work with any version of the other runtime files (H/PC Pro, H/PC 2000, or Pocket PC versions ) Even then, though, the menus in many of these apps won't work regardless of which version of the other runtime files you use. Maybe someone could figure out how to recompile it to make it work properly on the H/PC, but I don't know if the source code is available. |

Do we have the VB runtime for PPC x86? I'd definitely want to try it at least |

| Oh, maybe I should read the thread title. Duh.
MSCEMenuBar.dll won't help you because there was never an x86 Pocket PC. |

I dunk for bananas: my advice since you have MIPS/ARM devices is to try the MIPS/ARM PocketPC runtime's MSCEMenuBar.dll on those devices to see if it'll even work.
Then after we can see if it's possible to do for x86.. |

| @C:Amie I do want to eventually do our PocketC project, but I wanted to pick your brain about VB. I wanted to try to get H-Bomb working on x86. Since we have the source code, is there a way for us to figure out what exact dlls it requires? That my device is missing surely |
