Hi All.
I followed instructions from this guide, but when the connection is being established it throws an error. In the system event log I see this error:

Error on System Event Log is:
The user <Unauthenticated User> connected to port COM1 has been disconnected because no network protocols were successfully negotiatated. (hehehe, yes, there is a typo on the original message)

The error on the device is:
Cannot start communication with the desktop computer. Remote networking could not start due to a critical error (error 628).

I Have windows 2000 with no SP running on VirtualBox. I have installed the HPCExplorer 1.1 as per recommendation.
I have setup the serial ports, etc.
The connection do happen, it says its authenticated then throws the error.

Any clue what could be wrong?

Thank you!

Here's a thread from 2006 that might help you out.
C:Amie provided a solution for the error 628.
