@C

I remember when I wrote programs with QBasic as a teenager and put them on disks in the computer magazines in the newsagents. that was evil!

That depends on what the apps did I suppose. If it rocked their world, then perhaps not. If it erased their Boot ROM... probably yes

No no... was only management software for Kinder suprise pieces
It was shareware, so you could only add a few characters. There was a register textfile on the disks. But no one ever reported back
So I'm very sure that they hacked my shareware version instead of paying some bucks. LOL
I need to put my apps into the ROMs of all devices I get for repair.
Ok back to topic... I hope I'm not annoying when I throw new apps into the SCL every week. :S

btw: I have serial cables for the e.g the 200LX on my website. Of course built by myself. it's a pity that everyone who needs one lives scattered around the world. I mean because of shipping costs

And it's a pity that I can only develop for Win Ce 2.11 at the moment

What is your development setup, an old Windows VM or physical hardware?

H/PC:Bay is the only place we allow selling on the site

I know! It was a quick action. My Jornada arrived and I was wondering how to write programs for it. Then I came across EVB, downloaded it and since then there has been one app after the other. I haven't really thought about upgrading yet.

It's easier in VM form, especially as it sounds like you are missing some of the tooling if you can only build for 2.11. You need to add 3.0, may be 2.0 as well for a full house.
