Some will have already read it in the news, others read it now...
At the moment I'm putting some ideas to paper, no nonsense, to Windows CE and want to give you the opportunity to follow what I'm working on, discussions around my programs and a small wish list.
That means you are welcome to discuss what programs you would like to see. Whether management programs for addresses, coins, watches, videocassettes, consoles, stamps, etc. or small games, and so on.

Apps in progress:

  • CEGotchi - Your virtual pet that lives and growth everytime you start the app and take care of it.

  • AuroraCE - A mixture of Aurora4X and StarCraft. So a strategy-simulation-building and exploration game.

  • Kaiser - Was a popular game on the Commodore64. At least in Germany. Will be similar to my game HAMMURABI, but without year limit, with more possibilities and save function.

Some of my apps are freeware, others shareware. That means you can use them as often and as long as you want. Only some functions are not unlocked. Nevertheless I am happy about small donations even for freeware apps. For example via PayPal.
Even pennies show me that what I do pleases others and is useful.
Nevertheless, every comment, criticism and praise is welcome and motivates me and also shows me that what I do is meaningful.

You've done a lot of hard work and it's so great to have another active developer in our midst! Thank you!

As for ideas, I think in the SCL, there are certain popular programs that we only have the trial version for a lot of the types of programs you had mentioned. Re: management programs for addresses, coins, watches, videocassettes, consoles, stamps, etc. or small games.

As for what I'd like to see, I'll wait to see how others comment, and go off of that.

Excellent work, Citgo!

Great to see someone still developing for our little portable devices.

Will look at your WinCE offerings more closely with google translate....

If you had any items for HP200LX would have given consideration....

Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much for your kind words.
Well I thought about making m website in multiple languages but for now I think it is okay. The programs are already translated here in the SCL.

I did some DOS programs but only for the Atari Portfolio.
But yes... I could use QBasic in order to make some programms which run on the DOS devices.
Time for buying a 300LX in order to test that

I also think that I will take a closer look to some trial apps to rebuild them as freeware or to get the control of the selling process. Most of the prices are prices which related to the public date.

You are welcome...

No problem for me to translate your webpages....and will check out the SCL here....

As for the Atari, never had one or seen one in person, but have been curious about it along with the Poqet and Tidalwave (& clones) DOS devices, as they have nicer keyboards and larger displays than the HP200LX (although I do really like the HP200LX....)

Are you able to do much with the Atari?

Thanks.

I also like the DOS devices. It is really back to basics.
Well I used my Atari Portfolio for text writing and spreadsheets.
Also for programming.
Wrote a program to control 8 outputs over the paral. Interface. As a chaser light with LEDs or outputs with relais.
It is very cool to play with. See John Connor on Terminator 2

Ok... today I sent torch the new program MemoryCE for adding to the SCL.
It's an app I made because I read in a thread that torch used a similar app which is unfortunaly trialware and the author is not reachable.

So for now I'm working on a Tamagotchi clone. Next there will be something like Quizmaster.

Feedback and ideas are welcome!!

That is great, Citgo. I remember playing with a silver USA version of Tamagotchi long time ago.

That is perfect timing, because I believe that the corporate motto "Don't be evil" recently became available after its previous owner became an insidious, evil privacy invader. First stop, conquering HPC:Factor, next stop... the world!

p.s. don't be evil

Do you think x86 builds of the programs would be possible?

@C

I remember when I wrote programs with QBasic as a teenager and put them on disks in the computer magazines in the newsagents. that was evil!

@I dunk
Unfortunately, I can currently only develop what the environment is available for.

While @Citgo is coding in VBCE, once we sort the x86 VBCE 2.0 runtimes, his apps will work on x86. The issue is only that he is bundling the runtimes with the app. If @Citgo would agree to release the app CAB without the runtimes, it will just work on any device that already has our integrated runtime installed (and would make his app download sizes smaller).
