I did this on my Casio BE-500s to allow them to read the autorun scripts, which identify the autorun volume as \Storage Card despite the card being initially named in Japanese.
I'd considered it, but on 2.00? Perhaps @frampton will test.


I will try today on my HP 620LX (italian version), it seems a different way to change card names as compared to the other link?

No, I can confirm that this doesn't work in WinCE 2.0.
Casio BE-500s/BE300 has 3.0 right?

Correct. I admit I didn't know that CE 2.0 didn't support this.
