My CEPC came with a Wifi USB dongle, which sadly does not support wpa2-psk, which is what my Wifi uses. How would it be possible to add support for this? One of my other CE 5 devices connects just fine to my network.

Is this a hardware thing meaning I'd need a new dongle+drivers, or is it a CE software thing? The device doesn't come with the Windows CE Wifi manager, but I have to use the built in one, which doesn't even list wpa2-psk as an option

In the case that it is a hardware thing, are there any USB Wifi dongles that support CE 5 and wpa2-psk that you know of?

Also, does anyone know which files and registry entries are responsible for the native CE wifi connection GUI? On my device, nothing happens when I click the little network icon in the tray, but I could derive them from PB

I wonder if you don’t have the respective qfe. Is there a way for I dunk for bananas to check that?

QFE20061231 is required for WPA2 support under CE 5.

To eliminate CE being the issue, can you please give us the chipset model so we can
1-add it to the HCL + drivers if you have them
2-also try connecting it to a normal Windows XP/10 PC and see if WPA2 works there.
