| I recently emailed Orbworks about the availability of PocketC on WinCE, and got the answer that they lost the program that generated the keys. Does anyone perhaps have a registration key that will work with the latest version? | |

| I don't know if it'll work on the latest version, nor do I know if the registration key will work but I do have a few of them. Not sure if I can post it here.
Do you know if we have their permission to repost the keys?

| Is it the developer version that requires the key? | |

| Yes. The runtime itself is free, so no registration is required to run already-existing PocketC (.app ) programs. | |

| Should I email orbworks and cc hpcfactor to ask permission to share the keys ? | |

| I just wanted to follow up:
I did email them asking the same question about being for sale, and they told me it's not available for sale.
I then inquired about (and shared this exact thread), asking if the CD keys are allowed to be released if it's no longer available for sale, but it's been a few days and I've not heard from them.

| Update : still haven’t heard from them. I’ll wait a few weeks and try to send another email. | |

| I tried contacting them about this multiple times, and there is simply silence.
For anyone reading this in the future: A simple, temporary workaround to get rid of the splash screen is to get a registry editor app and reset PocketC's "times run" counter to 1. You'll have to redo this every once in a while, but it's better than an annoying roadblock every time you wont to compile something. Don't reset the counter to 0 though, because otherwise you'll get the welcome splash again.
