I found the source code for FloatMe, and compiled it for x86, MIPS, SH3 and SH4.
The only thing that I'd need now to use it effectively is to launch it by hotkey (since it turns the currently active window into a resizable window, which may end up only letting your resize explorer windows). Does anyone know if there's any hotkey/tray launch tools available for x86?

Good job

https://www.hpcfactor.com/scl/885/MobileCubed/M3CRO/version_3 which is a .VB if I remember correctly. You'll have to pull it from the CAB.

Nice congrats! We’ll have to add that later

Here’s two programs for ya

https://www.hpcfactor.com/scl/846/WR-Tools/WR-Tools_Hotkeys/version_...

https://www.hpcfactor.com/scl/1721/Elias_Zacarias/Okey/version_2.0[/...

These aren't quite the right thing sadly They're for entering special characters and remapping your layout

I'm probably remembering wrong then, many of MobileCubed's apps were VB. If I had Julio's address still I'd ask him if he wanted to share the source.

He is user @JulioAngelOrtiz he hasn't logged in since 2009 though

I'm pretty sure M3cro is MFC-based rather than VB-based, C:Amie, even though Julio gave the CABs names that look like typical names for the CABs of VB apps. I have the H/PC Pro versions, and they require (and include) the H/PC Pro versions of mfcce211.dll and olece211.dll. He wrote quite a few MFC-based apps too.

Yes, I've just looked in the CAB and realised that. It has been a decade and a half, I can't remember everything

I PM'd Julio, doubt he'll get it the alert though. We used to keep in touch over Windows Messenger... but that is long since dead.

Correct. I fixed Julio’s listings to show which are vb and which aren’t. Check the tags and you’ll have it there

Can you change the OS version of FloatMe from 4.0 to 2.11? There aren't many MIPS devices, and no SHx devices at all, running 4.0 or higher.

I hexedited the OS version of the MIPS build to 2.11 myself, but it won't open, producing a "not a valid CE application" error. Executability Check says coredll.dll can't export function 1645. (I know it will work all the way back to CE 2.11 because I hexedited the original ARM version and got it to work on the Jornada 820.)

I think it’s because she doesn’t have evt3 installed. I haven’t looked at the code to see if it’ll work on evt3 yet.
