As I've literally just registered on the site I thought I'd post a quick hello and say Hi!

I'm a collector of Retro Computers (mainly laptops, particularly Compaq - I have several hundred that I need to sort through)...

Having said that I do have a few Windows CE devices (hence joining this forum) that I have picked up on the way, the latest acquisition is a Samsung IZZI Pro Windows CE device that I will shortly be creating a thread about (once I've worked out which part of the forum I need to put it in).

Well, to give a hint, the iZZi Pro is a Handheld PC Pro (CE 2.11) device.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

My first venture in to the world of handheld PC was when I purchased a shiny new Psion Series 5 when I worked at Currys - I then began my career in IT Support/Services and supported users with the Compaq iPaq (and later the HP devices when HP purchased Compaq).

Nice, I've never heard of Currys until I just looked it up - it seems to be similar to our Best Buy stores here in the 'States

My first H/PC (which I no longer have ) was a Compaq 2010c

What OS version did you start with supporting on the iPAQ? I assume PocketPC 2000?

Welcome to HPC:Factor!

I always wanted to own an iPaq when PDAs were really new. I bought a Casio Cassiopeia E-700WE though because I couldn’t afford like $500 or so. Hope you enjoy it here.
