I have a shiny Samsung IZZI Pro Windows CE device in what appears to be in good physical condition but it didn't come with a power adapter so unsure at this stage if it works or not. It requires a 10V (2A Max) power adapter but I cant find anything online relating to it.

I see a few people have posted things about the Samsung IZZI range so I was wondering if you could share a photo of the power adapter showing the part number and voltage/amperage etc. along with the tip so I can see what I need to find so I can see about getting this device up and running?

Many thanks!

Hi,
there are a few power adapter on ebay.co.uk with 10V and 2A.
If you are unsure with the tip, get a universal one with some extra tips.
Or if you have a caliper, then measure the inner diameter of the jack and the outer diameter of the pin. I strongly assume that the inner pin leads plus but I also believe that The correct polarity is engraved on the device.

Most universal power adapters that come with various tips are either 9V or 12V - I've not been able to find a universal adapter with 10V as an option. There are plenty of 10V 2A power adapters but they dont appear to have the correct size tip, hence why I was after a photo of an actual adapter from a Samsung IZZI owner

I'm pretty sure, that the device also run with 9V.
According to the device list there are only 2 users with a Samsung Izzi Pro.

That's 2 more than any other forum I've been on!! It seems the IZZI Pro is pretty rare as there is very little spoken about it and I cant find any results on archive.org so it doesnt seem it was a very popular model.

I might have to take a punt and try a 9V universal adapter...

I can't find the adapter for mine ATM. It's probably in storage with a lot of my CE devices. But I have a couple of those Tekkeon MP3300 portable external batteries that come with multiple adapter plugs, and you can get by with the 9-volt setting given that the battery itself is rated at 7.2 volts.

Amazon will be delivering a universal power adaptor today so I hope you are all right and that 9V will do as I'd love to get this thing up and running!

This is the first time I've come across an IZZI not sure of the exact model number, could it be S310-1E3S/KEQ

It's alive!!

Already the battery is on 10% so leaving it plugged to see if I can get it to 100% to see how long it might last on the battery

Thank you for your help

Someone mentioned having a service manual etc. I'd love to get hold of these as I'd like to know more about this model but there is very little information about it on the Internet, I dont even know the year of manufacturer yet!

Thanks.

If there is a service manual floating about, I'll happily add it to H/PC:Update

Congrats on the success! I'd also try submitting your exact brand/model # (or close enough) of the power adapter to our HCL here https://www.hpcfactor.com/hcl/submit/
as a "Misc - Cables & Leads" then after it's accepted add your device's compatibility to it- then others can benefit
