Apologies for the newbie question, I'd like to post a photo of my handheld PCs in to the thread entitled "Show me your stuff!" but I can't see a way to upload a photo to the forum - am I doing something wrong or do I need to upload it somewhere else and then link the URL to here?

either you upload it externally and link it in the thread with the button [IMG] or you mark the point "Attach a file after posting" then you can upload files from your computer and then submit the post.
Use the full reply editor rather than the quick reply (the blue reply button). There is a tick box to add files after posting at the bottom of the form.
