| Is there an x86 Windows CE 2.12 SDK that can integrate into evt3?
As it stands right now:
X86 Windows CE can only be compiled with the HPC2000 SDK.
I’ve been trying to find an SDK for CE2.12 x86 (the first x86 version of CE for x86 real hardware )
I feel like some clues to find it would be Jupiter Allegro’s CE2.12 devices or NCD ThinStars

| As I said the last time you asked this, I have never seen a 2.12 SDK in the public domain. |

| Well, we already had CE3.0 x86 but it’ll be nice to experiment with 2.12 now!! |

| Oh I just wanted the build targets for 2.12 cepc (not x86em) so if this is the “SDK” this is really all I needed.
Again thank you for braving the weather to find that which cannot be found. You are a gentleman and a scholar. |

| That's good, because there isn't an x86em for 2.12. |

| Oh I don’t touch x86em ever. I think I’ve purged all of those from the SCL.
Where did you find the 2.12 build targets ? Edited by torch 2023-02-12 10:25 PM

Do you think you could try building iTaskMgr for x86 with eVC 3 now? |

| I’ve been able to compile for x86 all this time. I just wanted the 2.12 build target so we can build for the very first CE thin clients.
Before I was compiling for either CE3.0 or 4.x x86.
Anyway, I think I had tried but wasn’t successful compiling itaskmgr but I’ll give it a try with the 2.12 build target later when I get home
In the meantime, try this. It says it’s for 6.0 but it may work on CE5

| The build you linked unfortunately doesn't work on CE 5 I wasn't able to compile it for any architecture with eVC 4, but opening the same project file in eVC 3 let me compile it for all architectures successfully, just not for x86 since that wasn't a valid target, just x86em.
Which sources were you using for iTaskMgr? And which version of eVC were you using? |
