I've noticed today in cleaning up the database a bit that back in the dawn of civilisation when the HCL became database driven a file was never pulled from its original OEM URL into the file store.

The old HCL link was http://www.socketmobile.com/support/downloads/redirect.asp?URL=ftp://ftp.socketmobile.com/wlan/cf/124B/WLAN_HPC.exe

Which is obviously
ftp://ftp.socketmobile.com/wlan/cf/124B/WLAN_HPC.exe

No go for the WBM there.

It is for the Socket Communications Socket Low Power WLAN Card 8510-00186 and 8510-00188 - https://www.hpcfactor.com/hcl/detail.asp?hcdid=717

Does anyone have WLAN_HPC.exe on disk somewhere? I'll get it made public again

I had a similar issue with the Samsung MagicLan SWL-2610C Driver but I found it!
https://www.hpcfactor.com/downloads/2963/Samsung_MagicLan_SWL-2610C_Driver/version_0.7.6.0

Thanks

Someone posted a modified dll here:
https://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=13378&start=1

I'll keep looking and keep you posted, but maybe this is better than nothing?

I also found this one
https://archive.org/details/SocketLowPowerSDIOWLANInstallationDiscRelease142DCDVersion6210-00142D2004
I won't spam the forum, I'll let you know if I find anything else, but this one may be useful to have on file?

There is already a 4.2 driver in the SCL, it's everything else that is missing (2.11 and 3)

Ah dang, I just found one of these on a local marketplace site, sans driver CD of course. :/
Would have been amazing for the Jornada 820

Are we able to find out what chipset that card uses? That’s how I’ve been able to find alternate drivers in the past.

If we know the chipset maybe it’s in the hcl elsewhere or I can try and do a scavenger hunt
