Hello everyone!

I have posted on the Opera forums to ask...no, to beg, that they make registration available for Opera 8.65 and similar old versions or just simply publish a workable key.

What I need you to do is go over there and post a comment on my thread so that they understand just how much interest there is in this topic!!

https://forums.opera.com/topic/60428/registration-for-old-versions-w...

Please help!

Have you tried emailing them? 13 years ago, I got them to update their policy for employees and got an Opera flash drive in the mail + a handwritten letter.

I might have spoken too soon. Opera had different owners back then.

You're right, torch. It's being owned by 360.cn now, not Norwegian based company anymore. (Seems like they claim theire HQ is in Norway though)

Also, I would simulcast this post to the xda Windows Mobile forum. They may know something we don’t and could offer advice for us.

I don't have any presence in that forum; would you like to post it there?

It looks like I spoke too soon - that Windwos Mobile forum seems mostly dead - nor could I find an appropriate forum category to post for programs that aren't made by "XDA Members"
Perhaps CE Geek knows of a PocketPC forum that's active?

I don't think it matters. Someone said opera got bought out by some chinese company that doesn't even read the forums. It's dead Jim.

Edit: "someone" being Stingraze! Lol.

You are kidding, right?

I strongly doubt there are any Pocket PC forums still up. Not that I care.

I’ve seen your presence on some of them , granted this was yearsssssss ago.
I’m sarcastic, witty, and fun, but this time was a serious question.
But you and thenzero are right, probably not going to go anywhere.

The only ones I joined were Pocket PC FAQ (which was never anywhere near exclusively about Pocket PCs) and xda-developers.com (which I joined for access to the programs people developed there for Windows Mobile devices - so I could try them on core CE devices).

Just teasing!
