A user commented on the nPOPuk 3.05 post stating they had issues with it on SH3 2.11

Quote
3.05 works on SH3! But when I check my email the npopssl.dll has an error stating that it couldn't initialize. I tried to use the npopssl.dll from the 2.11 hoping that it will work; it didn't.

Not quite sure if npopssl.dll was in the right location, or if the user knows that this is just a wrapper that connects to the openssl DLLs and doesn't contain any encryption software itself.

Agreed. @archival36 we recommend you try this file from the Npopuk website
“npopuk305b2ssl_wce211sh3.zip”
This has built in ssl so you shouldn’t need any other files or dll downloads.
This is for Windows CE 2.11 SH3

It also appears that the link to the SSL Dynamic Links Libraries for Windows CE 2.11 is broken: https://npopuk.org.uk/3.05/dl/npopssl_wce211.zip.
Gives a 404 error.

It looks like 3.01 is the last version that has that particular file available. 3.02-3.05 do not

It didn’t work for the Windows CE 2.0; Casio A20 with 3Com 3CXE589ET.

It still needed the npopssl.dll.. I even tried the STARTTLS.. and it produced a server timeout/disconnected.

Oh. The ssl won’t unfortunately work on Windows CE 2.0.
Only CE2.11 or higher.
