I guess it's something to do with the USB to RAM + virtual memory?
One reason I now thought of is that Compact Flash is not suitable to be used as virtual memory.... Maybe you can try installing Windows 95 on a hard drive and set up the virtual memory on the hard drive instead of Compact Flash and see if that will make any difference...

Look, if I remember correctly, this problem doesn't show up under windows 2000 or windows 98SE.

Yeah, but obviously Windows 95 is made prior so you must expect some things are not the same. USB weren't that common back in Windows 95 days I believe.

Refer to here for more info:
https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19315-01/805-6058-11/z40001753212/index....

It states Windows 95 didn't support USB by itself on some versions. Also, I read on some Japanese sites that Windows 95 USB support was difficult and many makers didn't fully support them.

Ah... ok, then better leave it alone. I don't necessarily have to watch videos anyway. It was just out of curiosity. But thanks for all the help.

Reading through the forums, I found this:

See here:
https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/vxd-vcache- … -of-death.3797/

Basically it looks like you need to limit the vcache to 512MB and/or install chipset drivers.
I have limited the vcaches to 512MB. I set up Virtual Memory. I followed these two guides.
http://www.putergeek.com/vcache/ (Edited the System.ini file with Notepad)
We had already seen the virtual memory, but according to this guide, it would only be appropriate to set the minimum and not the maximum:

After a number of emails from Ron Martell (Microsoft MVP), I've decided to add more info here so you can make a better choice for your self. This has always been an item of great discussion and heated debate. But Ron sums it up quite nicely.

He states that by setting only the minimum size of the swap file (leave the maximum size alone) you will get all of the benefits but none of the risks.

I have always set both the MIN and the MAX to the same size. Ron does have a point here. If you set both the MIN and MAX and Windows finds a need for a larger swap file all sorts of nasty things *might* happen...out of memory errors, program crashes, and so on. My desire is to keep Windows from dynamically resizing the swap file...Ron points out that if you set the MIN size high enough, you won't get the performance hit UNTIL Windows needs a larger swap file...good point.

The problem remains. Windows crashes as soon as the RAM memory is 100% used up.
As far as installing the chipset driver is concerned, how do you do it?

I’m not knowledgeable about this but could you tell us your exact chipset for processor and maybe we can figure out :
1-where a chipset driver exists for Windows 95
2-how to install a chipset driver for Windows 95

I found this:
https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/ibm-pc-330-350-series-type-65...
or:
http://ps-2.kev009.com/pcpartnerinfo/ctstips/f5aa.htm
If so how can I check? Do I have to open the pc? What do I have to look for?

EDIT:
Here's what I found. It doesn't seem like there's anything else (If these are of course).

However, from Windows 98 onwards this problem does not occur. Seems related to Windows 95.
