MP900C Compatible Mouse?

Does anyone have a bead on a compatible mouse for the CMonex custom 4.2 ROM? I replaced the gwes file and now I have a mouse cursor showing up, but I tried all the USB mice I had in the house (they are moustly logitech, plus a few random other brands) and although they power, they don't move the cursor. I have some old Microsoft PS/2 mice but not USB. Will any microsoft USB mouse work or does it have to be one of the old school ones (like this: ).

Looking for specific mouse suggestions. Thanks!

p.p.s. wired and wireless USB keyboards work! so that's pretty cool anyway.

Follow up on this:

So far the only mouse that works (and works great!) is the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical USB (shown in my picture up there ^^). Report added to the HCL.

I was hoping to find a wireless mouse with a tiny dongle like the modern logitech ones. I did try a wireless MS mouse but no joy. The search continues...

Another interesting note: the 900c is working well with an external USB hub with a keyboard and mouse.
