I recently picked up a little Psion Series 3, mostly since I found it neat that it's what Douglas Adams used to write a good portion of The Salmon of Doubt (he used the 3a but that's pretty much semantics) and who knows what else, and as with most Psions the hinges are just about works of art, and also quite easily breakable. Mine hasn't had any problems yet, but the left hinge is starting to crack, so I was wondering if there was any preventative maintenance that I could do before what's probably just inevitable.

PS, on the census the series 3 isn't an option under Psion, is there some way to put it in under "other" or something like that?

Some strategically placed super glue seems to be in order. That's what I would do anyway.

p.s. I also really like the Psion devices. My favorite is the 5mx.

Or J B Weld Epoxy. But hinges are tough, given that they're always stressed.
