That’s nifty. It reminds me of the Intel x86 powered smartphone @thenzero bought to tinker with. As I recall, it could run XP and some Linux distributions. I bet it could run Windows 9x or DOS well if there were drivers. And I think thenzero only paid like $20 usd from the eBay seller

So thats the real deal? ! No emulation, no dosbox, no internet. Just the original hardware?

The retro-trend today has no limits.

It seems so! There even seems to be the BIOS chip and all.

Thats something for the fans of the HP200LX. Most of these beautiful machines died these days because of crappy plastics in the display(-cable). Instead they can buy a brandnew one with the same user experience.

And no way around the limitations of the hardware like with all the emulator stuff where you can leave the emulator and just have a quick look into Google on the same machine

Another forum suggested that the manufacturer was a chinese recycling business who wanted to try something with its stock of desoldered original parts.

https://winfuture.de/news,136240.html (sorry, only german)

So I assume there is no regular production, just a few prototypes.

No, that information should be wrong. It was selling on AliExpress. (60 sold)

A bit tangent, but this 8088 handheld seems pretty interesting too.

Oh, what a beauty. I like the XT even more because of the angular display and the eprom-sockets

I totally missed out that there are a few of these devices in the market.
