| Hi all,
I just received my brand-new HP 620 LX today. Bought it on eBay from a guy who himself bought it in 1997-1998, checked it out for a few hours and then put it back into its box and promptly forgot about it. Then, roughly 26 years later, he put it up for sale on eBay. It is in absolute mint condition. It is the CE 2.0 version. So, I will be looking for an upgrade ROM to 2.11 soon.
Here is an image of the HPC:
<After some back and forth I am not sure how to add an image to this post. Will do more research...>
Regards,
Hakan

| I have tried to upload the image. As JPG and PNG. No dice. And I have the image in sizes ranging from 2 MB to 14 MB. What I am doing wrong? |

| The images are too large for your member level, open them in paint and resize them to 800x600 and save them for upload |

| Lucky that the original owner had the foresight to pull the batteries before stowing away the device. Otherwise, not so mint...

| Awesome. Good luck on the ROM upgrade. I managed to find one a few years ago but it was in the US. I got a friend to buy it then ship it to me. It's a nice upgrade as you not only get a newer OS but you get x2 the RAM. It should upgrade from 16MB to 32MB.

| I am looking everywhere. So far no luck. But I am patient so eventually something will turn up. I check eBay in the US and DE regularly. |

| I don't think I've ever seen an upgrade card on the market but even with just 2.0 the 620LX is probably the best CE device HP ever made. Very reliable unlike the later 6xx/7xx models and still quite useful even with that chiclet keyboard, only things I can't run on it that I wish I could are Tombo and Illium apps... |

| In my opinion the 620 is much more beautiful than the 680 and following.
I own one in the same beautiful state like yours - just have to charge the batteries |

| I must say I find the keyboard very, very good. And the click sound is very nice too. So far I am very happy with the device.
