| philips velo 1 or HP 320LX / Ericsson MC12
beware the ce 2.0 upgrade was available for all of them, so check the actual device before buying. |

| I recommend the HP200LX with a real MSDOS 5.0
It´s a fantastic HPC. The HP200LX is the best HPC (very old but the best ), useful for people to use simple applications. There are a hundred and hundred of freeware.
I reviewed it:

I would also recommend the Velo 1, but be aware that you may be disappointed with it's weak backlighting, especially in poorly lit conditions.
It's awesome in bright sunlight or in well lit rooms. |

| Unfortunately, the prices for it on eBay are $100 and up, I even found one for $300! And a power adapter for $99! Therefore, I am looking at the HP 100lx and the HP 95 lx. |

| hm i can have a 200LX for 75$ here... the problem is that they're quite rare. i'll wait for one. until that, 95LX isn't too bad but 200LX is really a big step up from it. |
