so, opera mini works.
you just need to install the correct version of the java midlet environment and manager, IBM J9: j9-midp20-wm2003-arm_22.CAB
it is a wm2003 only installer but it works fine.
hexedit the OS versions of all EXE and DLL files in the J9 bin directory after installation. executabilitycheck works fine for this task. oh and you need aygshell
(16.5 kbyte version
).
(to change its norwegian menus to english: Start Opera -> Meny -> Verkt?y -> Instillinger -> Spr?k -> English and OK

J9 works with many of the phone midlet applications as well
will test it on ce.net now.
