Do I need to repeat this on another thread?

CE 2 does not have all of the functions (or something like that) that CE 2.1 and 3 have. Because of that, the bootloader would have to be completely rewritten to work. As I have said before: It is possible, but someone has to do it.


lol, if I had knowledge of what is stuffing it up and what the difference is between ce 2 and 2.1 then I'd give it a shot...

CE 2.1 is a minor upgrade to CE 2.0.

It also added certain functions to CE.

Somewhere on this Linux/Unix forum is the list of the functions missing, or something similar. Search the forum yourself, I do not want to.

WinCE 2.0 can use pbsdboot.exe. In that case, aren't you putting this guy off un-necessarily?

No boot transcript, but from the detailed setup info, I would concur that it *does* run on wince2.0.

NetBSD folks have been running it since 2000 and from this thread, its on wince1.0 and above!

you're right. even CE 1.0 can run bootloaders for unix.

I'm trying to load Netbsd on a Nec 800. The ftp address is wrong. If you go to hpcmips is comes up mipsel?? How did you do it?
