| Hello,
I have a few questions about Symantec Act for CE 1.0.
1.) What is it?
2.) Does it work with CE 2.0?
Thank You
Joseph

| Wha?....If you don't know what it is...oy
Ok, lets get started.
Act! is a contact management program. It is actually pretty useful, and holds notes and such. It is really a program for people who need to keep track of a ton of contacts (well over 300 ) and have lots of information on them, which they can bring up at any time. I actually own a cd of Act! for CE 2.0, no idea if it would run on 1. The only reason why I do not mess with it currently is because it is a mips-only version.
The only really cool feature I remember about my CE version is that it had a tone dialer.
For PC:
Oh, never mind. I have Act! for CE 1.0, and it just happened to work on CE 2.
I guess I actually have something of value then, eh? |

| Thanks, but I already looked it up... I am getting a copy on eBay, just because it is CE 1 software. |

| Anyone know if a non-mips version is available? I would love to try this on my Jornada 720. If this came on old ACT cds, I may actually have a copy sitting around.

| It is avaliable on a cd. However, it will only work on H/PCs with SH3/MIPS processors.. Sorry, you have an ARM processor... |

| Nowhere.
Just like the other Symantec applications made freeware, the download is gone. What cmonex found was a page on waybackmachine.
I am not sure if I could post the cd for download. |

| Geez cmonex. Calm down there.
I will find the cd soon, and perhaps the already slow forum could host it.
I'll post again when I can find it. But how much would it cost you? $5? |
