Skype on Jornada 720

kind of off topic, but I just had to mention this thing I found called Cybiko, via a PDA blog in Japanese.
The cool part: it has a two-way radio text messaging system.

Now with this, you don't have to worry about the communication software being outdated (I think) haha.

If it could extend its range or have a repeater, it will be really cool!

I've had a couple of them, they used to sell them at Toysrus. Not only was it a two way radio, but it could be used to play games on too. The games themselves weren't that great, but a couple had pretty good graphics (think Gameboy-ish). Never had the Xtreme variant. What sucked though, was the range.

I see! It's good to know somebody who used the device in person.

It's impossible to find these in Japan unless you count buying one from eBay.

They should use Skype over IRC or Discord over IRC, thru Bitlbee.org.

But for Discord, this might be dangerous, as accounts using unofficial clients (like thru IRC) are automatically banned when detected.

This is just a website I've heard about, I used it to chat over MSN like ten years ago, downright using MSN with cmd and telnet command at school, it worked, but anyway use it at your own risk.

Apparently this will work with an ILS server but I don’t recall if it lets you actually chat
(Formerly used msn protocol)
