If Jlime did have some sort of instant on support in the development version, I would have much less to worry about, and the 720 kernel would have it as well.

I'll check into it, but do not believe you currently.

-Great info on konqueror, I am glad that it is fast. I don't see much harm in porting it.

--Could you try running abiword for me? It is a rather large gtk+ application, and if it runs somewhat on a 680, much of my worries for the 720 will be gone.

Thanks.

Sorry, been taking exams so not been online much.

Instant on is definatly there - its on the CVS (i think thats what its called) development feed for SH3. Dont know if the 720 has it yet (i only have a 680). Konqueor runs okay. I'll try Abiword after the exams if you dont mind waiting, but do have quite a bit to do.

The kernel with instant-on support: http://rapidshare.de/files/9758101/opieimg.tgz.html - complete Jlime kit (exact image of my card)

http://pwp.netcabo.pt/knuckles/jlime/zImage - Just the kernel by itself. SH3 only i think.
