Thought I'll spin a separate thread for clarity.

Does anyone has the PPC2002 dlls for MIPS cpu based HPC device, like the MP790 series?

Also, will installing these dlls into the \windows allow the device to run ppc2002 apps?
In particular, I'm talking abt the MP790 which has the wince3.0 core.

Yes.

Not usually, there are one or two instances... but not usually. You will have to find MIPS 2002 apps first...
2000 would be slightly easier.

Does it mean that ppc2000 apps would run native on wince3.0 based MP790? Granted that they are MIPS bin?

Not at all.
You will need to hack them for the most part, as with 2002. You will also need the 2000 core files.

I thought PPC2002 was already ARMs only, even tho it was CE3 core. And that's why Casio switched to the Intel StrongARM for the Cassiopeia E-200 to run PPC 2002.

Yeap, I just realised that too, after installing the PPC2002 SDK, I found it only had the ARMs and x86 runtime dlls for distro.

Guess, SH3 and MIPS are out for 2002 and beyond. :~(
