well, no, they aren't glued together. i guess it's the same as with the jornadas.. don't use a screwdriver, just your hands. the trick is going in the right direction. also, did you remove all screws?
anyway 8th step describes it in details:

do NOT use "save target as". copy the link into your browser's address bar, load it, and don't close the ads until you downloaded the zip. this works.
